About Omri

Omri Golden Plotnik grew up in Manitoba and graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in Criminal Justice, earning the Gold Medal for the highest academic standing. He continued at the University of Manitoba's law school, where he received several awards for high grades, supervised trials at the Community Law Centre, and clerked for judges of the Court of King's Bench. His practice covers murder, drug trafficking, firearms, and sexual offence cases, along with impaired and dangerous driving, MPI and licence-suspension hearings, commercial driving files, and administrative matters such as protection orders. He has successfully argued Charter motions and handled conviction and sentence appeals, and travels regularly to Steinbach and the Pembina Valley to meet clients.
