About Matthew

Matthew Raffey is a partner and co-founder of WRMG Law, practising primarily in criminal law and civil litigation, with additional experience in administrative, immigration, and regulatory litigation. Raffey has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Manitoba. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Manitoba in 2004 and his Bachelor of Laws from the same university in 2010, and was called to the bar in 2011. He articled at Phillips Aiello before co-founding WRMG Law in 2015 with Tara Walker and Andrew McKelvey-Gunson. He is a member of the Law Society of Manitoba and the Manitoba Criminal Defence Lawyers Association, and serves as founding board member and current president of the Winnipeg Repair Education and Cycling Hub.
