About Jamal

Jamal Abas grew up on a four-generation grain and cattle farm in Manitoba's Interlake before leaving in 2020 to pursue a law degree in Dundee, Scotland, completing a two-year accelerated LLB. After graduating in 2022, he returned to Canada, completed his equivalency through the National Committee on Accreditation, articled at Wolson Roitenberg Robinson Wolson, and was called to the Manitoba bar in June 2025. He focuses on criminal defence with a particular emphasis on Manitoba's Interlake region and is a member of the Manitoba Bar Association.
