About Laura
Laura represents clients dealing with death, incapacity, and financial vulnerability, guiding them through estates, trusts, and capacity disputes with clear explanations of their options. Her interest in the area began while clerking at the Ontario Superior Court, where she worked on matters ranging from routine probate to complex estate litigation. Since being called to the bar in 2015 she has practiced exclusively in this field, appearing before the Court of Appeal and Superior Court and at mediation. She joined Casey & Moss as its first associate in 2017 and made partner in 2021. Laura holds a JD from the University of Toronto and belongs to the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations' elder law and trusts sections, along with the Toronto Lawyers' Association and the Advocates' Society.
