About Larissa

Larissa Doerr is an Associate in the firm's Insurance Practice Group, with a litigation practice covering insurance defence and subrogation work. She has handled a range of claim types, among them occupiers' liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, negligence claims against municipalities and public authorities, property damage, and personal injury. Larissa has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia. While in law school she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada doing legal research and preparing informational materials, competed in the Environmental Law Moot, and completed a judicial internship at the Supreme Court of Belize. Before starting her legal career, she worked as an insurance agent, selling and underwriting policies for commercial and private clients with a focus on marine, auto, and commercial garage coverage. She enjoys visiting local wineries, running, camping, and hiking in her spare time.
