About Ladislav

Ladislav Kovac is a partner in the Commercial Real Estate and Development Group at Robins Appleby, called to the Ontario bar in 2014. He advises institutional and private lenders along with developers of all sizes on financings, acquisitions, and sales, and handles specialized agreements including standstill, subordination, geothermal energy, joint venture, crane-swing, tie-back, and limiting distance arrangements that come up often in commercial deals. His work follows projects from initial planning through acquisition, development, and final sale, including conveyancing, financing negotiations, condominium sales materials, and Land Titles Absolute Upgrades. He belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association, and outside work he enjoys photography, cycling, and strength training.
