About Kristy

Kristy works exclusively for First Nation clients in governance, economic development, consultation and accommodation, treaty implementation and regulatory processes, including development of bylaws, codes and financial administration laws. She joined Ratcliff in 2007 after clerking at the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal, and was part of the team that advised Maa-nulth First Nations on treaty closing and implementation. She also represented Lil'wat Nation in negotiations with BC Hydro and the Province addressing historic impacts from BC Hydro's facilities. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2006 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2007.
