About Kristen

Kristen Dulysh, now a partner at Bariteau Dulysh, first became involved in the criminal justice system through an internship at the Ontario Correctional Institute while studying criminology, which shaped her belief that no one should be defined by past mistakes. She graduated with high distinction in her honours BA from the University of Toronto and earned her Juris Doctorate at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she worked as a case worker on the Innocence Project assisting with a Criminal Conviction Review Group application. She also interned at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton and was a summer student and articling student at criminal defence firms before joining Bariteau Dulysh. Dulysh has handled complex cases, including trials, in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal, securing acquittals in matters involving sexual assault, firearms and assault charges.
