About Jacqueline

Jackie Boutros is an associate whose practice centers on criminal litigation at the trial level. She has represented clients on charges ranging from drug trafficking to firearms offences and sexual assault. She earned her JD from Queen's University, along with a Master of Fine Art from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. As a student caseworker at Queen's Legal Aid, she helped Kingston-area residents before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Social Benefits Tribunal, and worked on criminal defence files that helped spark her interest in the field. She has a particular interest in written advocacy and complex pre-trial applications relating to the Charter, including issues around the admissibility of private records in sexual assault cases.
