About Jocelyn
Jocelyn Heaton is an associate at Bariteau Dulysh, where her work focuses on criminal litigation at the trial level, representing clients facing a range of charges in and around the GTA. She earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, along with an Honours B.A. double-majoring in Political Science and Economics, and concentrated her studies on criminal law and defence work. She volunteered with Fair Change Community Services, a student-run legal clinic that helps street-involved and homeless individuals with provincial offence tickets, and competed in the 2022 Gale Cup Criminal Law Moot, placing second. Jocelyn began working with the firm as a law student in 2021 through Osgoode's Criminal Intensive program, returned for her 2L summer, and completed her articles there from August 2022 to June 2023 before being called to the bar in June 2023.
