About Laura
Laura Remigio is an associate at Bariteau Dulysh whose practice centers on criminal litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. She has represented clients as counsel in front of both the Ontario Court of Justice and the province's Superior Court of Justice, and has drafted written arguments filed with the Court of Appeal for Ontario, along with handling bail hearings, trials and pre-trial applications. Laura completed her Juris Doctorate at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2016, and holds an honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, conferred by the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where she finished with highest distinction. She was called to the bar in 2017. Before joining Bariteau Dulysh, she articled and worked as a summer student at Edelson & Friedman LLP in Ottawa, and was later an associate at Kim Schofield & Associate, where her drug litigation work included Charter applications, appeals and a Gardiner hearing.
