About Ehsan

Ehsan Ghebrai is a senior partner at Rusonik, O'Connor, Ross, Hershberg, Ghebrai & MacDonald LLP, where his practice centers on homicide and other complex criminal litigation. He has more than fifteen years of experience focused exclusively on criminal defence, and the Law Society of Ontario has certified him as a Specialist in Criminal Law. He has been approved to sit on both the Extremely Serious Matters panel and the Complex Case panel. Ehsan began his career at Pinkofsky's Criminal Trial and Appeal Lawyers before becoming a partner at Rusonik, O'Connor, Robbins, Ross & Angelini LLP in 2010, moving to his current firm after its 2025 reorganization. He has handled numerous jury trials and preliminary hearings in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the province's Superior Court, and his caseload has included homicide, attempted murder, sexual offences, firearms charges, and drug trafficking matters.
