About Krista
Krista Clendenning is a partner practising estate planning and estate administration, with a particular focus on planning for families of persons with disabilities. She navigates the Disability Support and Employment and Income Assistance program rules and regularly presents on strategies such as Henson Trusts and tailored powers of attorney for that community. She has contributed to Manitoba Law Reform Commission consultations on wills, estates, and elder law, and participated in a 2019 provincial consultation on the disability income program. She earned her T.E.P. designation through the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2021 and chairs both STEP Winnipeg and the Manitoba Bar Association's Elder Law section. She has served on the board of Continuity Care since 2018 and received the Manitoba Bar Association's Headnotes and Footnotes Award in 2020 on behalf of the firm. She graduated from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law in 2017.
