Administrative & Regulatory LawKevin Westell is a founding principal at Pender Litigation. Alongside his criminal and regulatory defence work, he is often retained to act as Crown Counsel, as counsel for witnesses in criminal proceedings, and as amicus curiae. He has represented clients and the Crown at all levels of court across Canada and maintains bar membership in both British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. Kevin has served as a Law Society of British Columbia Bencher for Vancouver County since January 2021, chairing the Discipline Committee and the Discipline Processes Task Force. His regulatory practice includes representing professionals before the BC Securities Commission, the Office of the Police Complaints Commissioner, and the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia, and he has represented lawyer organizations before the Cullen Commission of Inquiry into Money Laundering in British Columbia. He teaches trial advocacy to law students and junior lawyers through several continuing legal education programs.
