Andrew Hindi is a criminal defence lawyer with a practice focused primarily on appeals. He brings experience with serious appellate matters and is the managing editor of Custos, a BC law blog focused on criminal appellate issues. He also handles prison law issues, including inmate disciplinary offences, and has appeared before all levels of court in BC. Andrew obtained his JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and a Master of Laws, thesis-based with honours, from the University of Auckland. He worked as a law student with Access Pro Bono and interned at the BC Securities Commission, and has published articles in journals including The Advocates' Quarterly. Andrew is a member of the Law Society of BC, the Canadian Bar Association, Access Pro Bono, and Legal Aid BC's appellate roster, and accepts legal aid referrals.
