About David
David Jardine, K.C., is Associate Counsel at Pender Litigation, providing services through his own firm, David Jardine QC Law Corporation. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1984 and practised as a defence lawyer until 1988, when he joined the BC Prosecution Service. He prosecuted for almost 34 years, specializing in Proceeds of Crime, Commercial Crime, and Organized Crime, and was lead prosecutor in some of the largest and longest trials in BC during his time with the Organized Crime office. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2013 and received a career recognition award from the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Heads of Prosecution Committee in 2020. In 2015, he was a visiting professional for four months at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. He coaches UBC law school teams for the Sopinka Cup advocacy competition and is a regular instructor for CLEBC's advocacy program.
