About Kevin
Kevin M. Morris is a partner at Torys and chairs the firm's Capital Markets Group. His practice covers corporate and securities law, with particular attention to capital markets deals, board governance issues, activist shareholder concerns, and mergers and acquisitions work. He advises companies and their underwriters on going public, raising capital through private placements, and securing financing across borders. Kevin also acts for companies on both sides of major corporate transactions, along with boards of directors and financial advisers. Outside the firm, he serves on boards for the Royal Ontario Museum, St. Francis Xavier University, and Covenant House Toronto, and he chairs the board of Shepherds' Trust in Toronto.
