About Aaron
Aaron S. Emes is a partner who serves as Head of Opinions and Research at Torys. He's spent his entire legal career at the firm, working in M&A, securities law, and corporate and commercial matters before moving into his current role in 2017. Aaron is often consulted on some of the firm's most difficult legal questions, particularly those involving how complex business deals are structured and carried out, especially where research alone cannot settle the matter. He advises on a broad range of legal issues, including conducting research, drafting and checking legal opinions and memoranda, and overseeing complex research projects.
