About Hannah
Hannah advises First Nations in BC and the Yukon on treaty negotiations and implementation, inter-governmental negotiations, and First Nations governance and jurisdiction, with a foundation in Aboriginal rights and title and Indian Act matters. In her corporate and commercial practice she advises on economic development and Indigenous business initiatives, including commercial transactions and leasing agreements. As a member of the Esketemc First Nation, she negotiated the 2022 Reconciliation Agreement between Stz'uminus First Nation and the Province of BC and successfully argued a breach of fiduciary duty claim as the first case heard by the Specific Claims Tribunal. She serves as a director of Small Business BC and Westhaven Gold Corp. She earned her J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2010 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2011.
