About Karl

Karl grew up in Winnipeg and practiced corporate and commercial law in Manitoba before moving his practice to British Columbia, where he has advised First Nations since 2006 on development of Aboriginal land, incorporation of First Nation-owned companies, leasing of reserve lands, and development of First Nation laws including taxation and financial administration laws. He is active in snowboarding, hiking, cycling and travel. He earned his LL.B. and MBA from the University of Manitoba in 1986 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1995.
