About Karin
Karin Emond practises family law at Coast Mountain Law, serving clients throughout the Sea to Sky region, and also handles corporate commercial, real estate, and wills and estates matters. Emond was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2007, holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia (2006) and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics, also from UBC (1997), and completed international legal studies at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Emond has appeared before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia and is trained in mediation. Before law, Emond worked as a tree planter and raft guide, and is a former board member of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society's BC Chapter.
