About Tanya
Tanya Kong is the founder of Kong Law, a boutique legal practice in Whistler, BC, and is a barrister, solicitor and notary. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo (2006) and a law degree from the University of Ottawa (2010), and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2012 and in British Columbia in 2016. Kong began her legal career at Zayouna Law in Mississauga before moving in-house as legal counsel for PointClickCare and later lululemon, where she negotiated commercial and technology contracts and helped build legal infrastructure. Through Kong Law she now serves as fractional general counsel to small and medium-sized businesses and offers limited individual services including wills and estate planning, family law matters, contract review and notarizations.
