About Amanda
Amanda Welton-Hagen is an associate lawyer at Coast Mountain Law, practising corporate and commercial law and wills and incapacity planning. Welton-Hagen was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2023, holds a dual J.D. from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy (2022), and a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Governance, Law, and Management from Athabasca University (2019), along with a Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate and a Paralegal Certificate. Welton-Hagen began a legal career in 2011 at a Vancouver insurance subrogation boutique, moved to Whistler in 2012, and worked from legal assistant up to paralegal at Mountain Law Corporation while completing legal studies, articling there in 2022 and later owning the firm for two and a half years before it became Coast Mountain Law.
