Karin E. Webster focuses on the out-of-court negotiation and settlement of family law matters, working as an Arbitrator, Mediator, Collaborative Divorce Lawyer, and Parenting Coordinator, as well as a Child Support Resolution Program Officer at the Court of King's Bench. She has extensive training in high-conflict mediation through the ADR Institute of Alberta and holds an arbitration certification through the National Family Law Arbitration Course, and also has considerable court experience advocating for clients when necessary. Karin has lectured for the Legal Education Society of Alberta on family law issues and has been recognized by Best Lawyers for her work as a family law lawyer and in family law mediation. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) from McGill University in 2003 and her law degree from Dalhousie University in 2006, and has practiced exclusively in family law in Alberta since 2007. Karin co-chairs the Alternative Dispute Resolution section of the Canadian Bar Association's Southern Alberta branch and serves on the boards of the Association of Collaborative Professionals (Calgary) and Collaborative Divorce Alberta Association.
