About Stephanie

Stephanie John is a construction lawyer with a background in civil engineering and project management, assisting clients from the early demand and builders lien phases through litigation, mediation, trial, and arbitration. She has appeared in BC Provincial Court and Supreme Court, and a significant part of her practice is contract drafting, including supplementary conditions and custom contract arrangements, along with procurement documents. Stephanie also maintains a practice in general commercial litigation and administrative law, having previously worked for Engineers and Geoscientists BC and assisted with professional discipline prosecutions at JML. She completed her undergraduate degree in civil engineering, including a 15-month internship with a construction management contractor in Calgary.
