About Julia
Julia Lockhart carries on a general administrative and commercial litigation practice, focusing on complex commercial disputes and administrative issues, and regularly advises the Law Society of British Columbia. She has experience before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and clerked for Justice Marshall Rothstein at the Supreme Court of Canada. Lockhart was called to the British Columbia bar in 2013 and holds a J.D. (Honours) from the University of Toronto, where she won the gold medal, along with an M.A. and a B.A. (Honours) from the University of British Columbia. She won Lexpert's Leading Lawyers Under 40 award in 2022 and has been ranked as a Benchmark Litigation Future Star since 2020. She volunteers with Access Pro Bono and has taught Advanced Contracts as an adjunct professor at UBC.
