About Irwin
Irwin Nathanson is known as one of British Columbia's top trial and appellate lawyers, with a practice focused on corporate commercial litigation, class actions, hostile takeover bids, and securities matters. He regularly appears before the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and is often retained to work with major law firms based in Eastern Canada and the United States. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 1969 and holds an LL.B. and a B.Com from Dalhousie University. Nathanson was appointed King's Counsel in 1985 and has been consistently ranked by Chambers, Best Lawyers, and Lexpert. He co-founded NST in 1987 with Stephen Schachter and Ardella Thompson.
