Kenneth Friesen has practised in estate, trust, and corporate litigation for 25 years, with a proven record of success at trial, on appeal, and through mediation. He handles cases involving capacity, undue influence, trust law, and wills variation, and often deals with difficult family dynamics in family business succession matters. Ken is a past chair of a Federal Review Tribunal and acts for and advises charitable societies including the War Amps, World Vision, the Mennonite Central Committee, OMF International-Canada, and Wycliffe Bible Translators, among others, in estate matters. He is the founding chair of MCC BC Legacy Trust, which oversees real estate development and holds properties across British Columbia, and serves on a number of charitable and political boards. Kenneth was called to the bar in 1992.
