About Jordan

Jordan Geist is an associate in Osler's Emerging and High Growth Companies group. Drawing on a background in both engineering and law, her practice focuses on emerging companies, corporate finance, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Geist earned her Juris Doctor summa cum laude, with a concentration in Law and Technology, from the University of Ottawa, where she served as a research assistant to several professors and assisted counsel with interventions before the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Courts on intellectual property matters. She competed in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot and won both the oral and written portions of the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot. Before law school, Geist graduated with honours in Management Engineering from the University of Waterloo and worked in project and product management roles at Canadian technology companies.
