About Leigh

Leigh Somerville Taylor focuses the firm's practice on resolving tax disputes with revenue authorities, working closely with clients and their accountants on tax and estate planning strategies since 2001. Somerville Taylor was selected by the Law Society of Ontario to help design its Tax Law Specialist designation and is a former director of the Ontario Bar Association's Tax Law Section. Somerville Taylor has taught and presented for the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Law Society of Ontario, and Osgoode Hall Law School, and works to address inefficiencies in Canadian tax law through litigation. Somerville Taylor holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Toronto's Trinity College, a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School (2002), and a Master of Laws in Tax from Osgoode Hall Law School (2011).
