Real Estate LawJoni's practice covers a range of civil litigation, with extensive experience in wills, trust and estate litigation as well as real property and easement disputes. She has conducted trials and appeals in all British Columbia courts and represented clients before tribunals including the BC Labour Relations Board, the Employment Standards Tribunal and the Human Rights Tribunal, and she litigates disputes over wills, powers of attorney and claims under the Wills, Estates and Succession Act. She earned a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University in 1990 and a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in 1994, joined Pushor Mitchell as an articled student in 1994, was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1995, and became a partner in 2001. She now serves as the firm's Managing Partner and sits on the board of the Central Okanagan Hospice Association and its Foundation.
