About Lauren

Lauren has practised exclusively in defence litigation since her call to the bar in 2012, focusing on insurance matters such as municipal defence, coverage disputes, professional negligence, product liability, property damage, and bodily injury claims. She provides coverage opinions across policy types including CGL, errors and omissions, directors and officers, and employment practices liability, and has successfully defended coverage disputes on behalf of insurers. Her work also extends to liquor and commercial host liability, sports and recreation liability, and general and product liability claims. Lauren has appeared before administrative tribunals and all levels of Ontario court, including the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal. She belongs to the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, and volunteers with the Hospital for Sick Children.
