About Lorne

Lorne Honickman is senior counsel at Jordan Honickman Barristers, where he concentrates on defamation law. He regularly advises clients who have been defamed as well as those accused of defaming others, and he helps remove damaging content from social media and other websites. His civil litigation work also covers administrative law, and he represents health care and other professionals facing regulatory college investigations and discipline. He earned an honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 1977 and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1995. Before practicing law full time, he spent more than two decades as a legal specialist for City TV in Toronto and hosted a weekly legal affairs program broadcast nationally.
