About Jeremie

Jeremie Beitel leads Beitel Tax Law LLP as its Managing Partner and has focused exclusively on tax law since 2012. His practice centers on representing owner-managers and other high-net-worth clients facing CRA disputes, along with advising on complex tax matters and corporate reorganizations. He has significant experience with cases involving alleged property flips and audits triggered by net worth analyses or questions of tax residency, and he has guided many clients through the voluntary disclosures program, particularly for unreported foreign assets. His client base spans several industries but is concentrated in construction, the trades, hospitality and, more recently, cryptocurrency. Notably, the Supreme Court of Canada cited his work approvingly in the MacDonald decision on hedging transactions. He earned his J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2012 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2015 and in British Columbia in 2013.
