About Julia
Julia Zhuo is an associate at Torys LLP in Toronto whose practice is focused on tax law. She has advised clients on the Canadian tax implications of public and private M&A deals, corporate reorganizations, and the operations of financial institutions. During law school, she received the Harold G. Fox Bursary, awarded to one of the top four students in her graduating class of 2020. She also earned the Alvin D. From Memorial Scholarship for achieving the highest standing in her Civil Procedure course. Julia also volunteered with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers on its Partnerships Committee during 2023-2024, contributing to the 17th Annual FACL Ontario Conference and Gala.
