About Benjamin
Benjamin Grant is a partner who represents owner-managers and high net worth individuals in disputes with the CRA. He built a broad background in tax and commercial disputes over several years at the Department of Justice, where he represented the CRA before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, and other courts, including arguing cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. He sits on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association's Taxation Law Section and writes about tax disputes on his Substack blog. Ben earned his JD from Queen's University in 2012, is currently enrolled in CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Program, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2013.
