About Jennifer
Jennifer Biernaskie handles commercial litigation, insurance defence, and administrative law matters, with particular strength in complex claims involving oil and gas, engineering, and professional liability. She was first called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2004, later to the Alberta Bar in 2010 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2020, holding an LL.B. from Dalhousie University and a BFA from the University of Lethbridge, along with the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors' Rotman program. Jennifer has represented clients in multi-party litigation spanning environmental losses, pipeline failures, intellectual property disputes, and construction negligence, and has appeared before courts in both Alberta and Nova Scotia. She chairs the Ethics and Professional Responsibility Subcommittee of the Canadian Bar Association and serves on the boards of Alberta Lung and Alberta Golf.
