About Shanna

Shanna Hunka is a managing partner and litigator in Bishop & McKenzie's Calgary office. Her practice emphasizes administrative law and general civil litigation, regularly acting for clients in the self-regulation of professions, including accountants, lawyers, engineers, realtors, teachers, and medical professionals facing disciplinary hearings. She has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta and before many administrative tribunals, and has completed over 125 trials and hearings. Shanna holds a BComm and an LLB, both with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1988.
