About Melissa
Melissa McBain is a partner in the commercial leasing department, where she represents landlords and tenants across a range of leasing matters. She has particular expertise in structuring lease transactions for office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties, and handles the interpretation of leases as well as the coordination of major multi-location projects and acquisition due diligence. Her practice also extends to telecommunications and building services agreements. Melissa is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2008. She joined the firm as an associate after articling and working as a summer student there. She frequently speaks at industry events including the ICSC Canadian Law Conference, NAIOP GTA, and programs run by the Ontario Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
