About Niiti
Niiti Simmonds is a partner and co-chair of the civil practice group at Cavalluzzo LLP, with a broad litigation practice in employment law, human rights, pay equity, long-term disability insurance, professional regulation, and health law. She represents individuals, associations, and unions before all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before tribunals such as the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Niiti also represents health professionals before their regulatory colleges and previously served on the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario's Practice Advisory Committee. She joined Cavalluzzo in 2018 after several years at a boutique litigation firm. She holds a joint Juris Doctor and Master of Environmental Studies from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario bar in 2010 after clerking for Superior Court justices.
