About Jason
Jason Brisebois began his legal career in the New York and Toronto offices of a major New York-based global law firm. At Sotos, he draws on his standing as a New York state-qualified lawyer and an Ontario-licensed lawyer to advise entrepreneurs and businesses on cross-border franchising, licensing, distribution, and related structuring. His work centers on buying and selling franchise systems, developing new franchise systems, and handling the many pieces of starting and running a franchise, including disclosure documents and commercial agreements as well as importing and exporting franchise systems. He also advises on mergers and acquisitions, other business transactions, commercial leasing, and advertising and marketing law.
