About Juan

Juan Carlos is counsel focused on international business law, with more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, mining law, and natural resources across Latin America. He founded Grosso & Co, a business law firm based in Buenos Aires that operates throughout the region, and advises on financing and development of mining and natural resource projects in emerging markets. Since 2003 he has served as legal representative for Northstar Trade Finance, an entity supervised by Export Development Canada, and regularly counsels mining companies, financial institutions, and governments internationally. He has worked on mergers, equity financings, and reorganizations involving companies listed on the TSX and NYSE. Juan Carlos holds a civil law degree from the Catholic University of Argentina and an LLM from Georgetown University, and is a member of the Argentina Bar. He speaks English and Spanish.
