James practises civil litigation with a focus on insurance defence, handling motor vehicle liability, product liability, occupiers' liability, subrogation, fire loss, and property damage. Over the past two decades he's developed experience in first-party accident benefits and disability insurance claims, including catastrophic impairment and bad faith. He's appeared before administrative tribunals, private arbitrators, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal.
