About Ali

Ali Aghaeinia is an associate lawyer at McCague Borlack with a broad civil litigation practice spanning professional liability, insurance defence, and employment law. He regularly appears before the Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Justice and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, giving him insight into both sides of litigation. While studying at Osgoode Hall Law School, Ali worked with the Community and Legal Aid Services Program as an Immigration Division Leader, advising clients through the immigration process and representing them before the Immigration and Refugee Board. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with high distinction from the University of Toronto, where he double-majored in criminology and ethics, society and law, and served as the inaugural Equity Director of the Woodsworth College Students' Association. He was called to the bar in 2024.
