About James
Jim is the Head of Low Murchison Radnoff's Family Law Group and a member of the firm's Management Committee, with a practice focused primarily on family law and estates and succession matters. He is a trained mediator who is often retained to help clients resolve disputes in a non-adversarial forum. Jim is a founding member, past Treasurer and past President of Collaborative Divorce Ottawa, and President of the Ontario Association of Collaborative Professionals, groups that promote the collaborative process in family conflict resolution. He also assists clients in business law, estates and succession, and general litigation matters, and sits on the Dispute Resolution Officer Panel for the Superior Court of Justice in Ottawa. Jim is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association, and can converse with clients and take instructions in French.
