James Hirsh is a partner focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defence, covering personal injury, subrogation, construction, and product liability matters. He joined Jones Kopp Litigation Partners LLP in 2023 after practicing at several boutique insurance defence firms in Toronto, and has represented clients before various Ontario courts and tribunals. He earned his J.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2014, and he was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015.
