About Allison
Allison Gaw is Managing Partner at Jones Kopp Litigation Partners, where her practice centers on insurance defence, including personal injury, subrogation, professional liability, and occupiers' liability claims, as well as coverage opinions on general liability and motor vehicle policies. She has represented clients before the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Divisional Court, and has contributed to matters before the Court of Appeal. Allison joined the firm in March 2016 after articling and practicing at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto, and she was appointed Managing Partner in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce with honours, cum laude, from the University of Ottawa in 2009 and her JD from the University of Windsor in 2012, and she was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013. Outside of work, Allison takes part in the Lawyer's Show musical.
