About Iris

Iris Chung was called to the Bar of Ontario as a solicitor and barrister in March 2002. Her practice covers wills, trusts, estate planning and corporate and commercial law, and as part of her estate work she advises families on guardianship issues and care arrangements for children with special needs. She also works alongside clients' accountants to help structure corporate and commercial transactions in a tax-efficient manner. Before joining MBB Law, Iris practised as a tax lawyer at Thorsteinssons, and earlier in her career she worked as a newspaper reporter. She frequently speaks at seminars on guardianship, wills, trusts and estate planning, including sessions for organizations such as Yee Hong and the Centre for Information and Community Services. Iris earned her BA and PCLL from the University of Hong Kong and her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, and she is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
