About Janet
Janet Lee is the Managing Partner of MBB Law and has practised law for more than 17 years. She holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and a bachelor's degree from CUHK, and speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She spent her first decade in practice at Osler working on corporate commercial matters before moving to Gowlings and then Norton Rose as her roster of international clients grew, and she joined MBB Law in 2014. Her practice centres on mergers and acquisitions, real estate and renewable energy projects, joint ventures and commercial lending, serving sectors that include real estate, mining, forestry and high tech. She regularly advises Chinese private and state-owned enterprises on their investments and operations in Canada, alongside banks, pension funds, public companies and high-net-worth individuals.
