About Michael
Michael J. Presta joined the Law Society of Ontario as a member in 2014, and a decade later he was admitted to the New York State Bar; he now practices in Bianchi Presta's Business and Real Estate Law groups. He works as a corporate generalist, addressing governance matters, negotiating commercial contracts, and advising on business plans and tax planning documentation. Michael also provides general legal help on residential and commercial real estate purchases, sales, and related financings, and acts for private and institutional lenders and borrowers on secured and unsecured business lending. His corporate work covers everything from incorporation through dissolution, including shareholder and partnership agreements, joint venture and option agreements, and employment and service agreements. In the community, he serves on the board of People Players Inc. (Famous People Players) as corporate secretary and previously chaired the King Township Public Library Board. He holds an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School, a J.D. from Bond University, and a B.Comm from Ryerson University.
